Dried beef salad is a so popular and delicious recipe in Vietnam. It has gradually become a familiar snack of street food and in Vietnamese wedding parties and death anniversaries. A colorful with many types of spices and wonderful taste definitely satisfies all gourmets. You can make dried beef salad yourself to treat your family and friends.




Ingredients:

- 1 medium-sized papaya, peeled and sliced into julienned strips

- 1 carrot, peeled and sliced into julienned strips

- 5 ounces dried beef

- 3 tablespoons peanut, mashed and roasted

- Coriander, cockscomb mint and basil, finely chopped.

Salad Dressing:

- 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice

- 3 tablespoons fish sauce

- 1 tablespoon sugar

- 3 chopped garlic cloves

- 2 chilies, finely sliced

- A cup of water


Methods:

1. Add 2 teaspoons salt into papaya and carrot, peeled and sliced into julienned strips. Mix well, allow to stand 5 minutes and then rinse well.

2. Make salad dressing: Mix sugar, water, vinegar or lemon juice, fish sauce in a bowl. Toss all ingredients and then add garlic and strips of chili.

3. Combine papaya, carrot, coriander, cockscomb mint and basil in a large bowl and then pour the dressing into bowl, toss the mixture finely, top it with roasted peanuts and dried beef and enjoy.
